L7805 Regulated Power Module 5V

Regulated 5Vdc 0.6A power supply board with L7805 voltage regulator. The L7805 regulator can provide up to 1A load current and features on-chip protection circuitry that shuts the chip down in the event of over heating or excessive current. The heatsink supplied allows a maximum load of 600mA to be connected. The input voltage can be unregulated AC (22V max) or DC (30V max) and should around 3Vdc above the output voltage for proper operation. The board comprises an L7805 voltage regulator with heatsink, bridge rectifier, input and output smoothing capacitors and screw terminal block connectors. It is suitable for a range of applications where a smoothed and regulated 5Vdc output of up to 0.6A is required.
